my problem specifically with drawing macavity is that i already have designs for his children so i have to like. reverse-engineer what he looks like but ALSO i want him to look like my favorite stage costumes of his and im trying to juggle making him look sort of related to jemima and plato while also making a design i like and im fighting for my life out here

You would think by virtue of wearing skintight costumes it would be hard to accidentally misgender any of the cats, even with lower quality footage, but there's a non-zero amount of times I've looked at a group of kittens sitting together and went 'aw the girlies are hanging out together' and then one of them turned around and it was Pouncival or something
